Amazing Facts that will provide the perfect solution to your design.

#1 Laminates can be decoratively finished.
Laminates, such as Formica, can be faux finished in any pattern or texture. It can be made to look like an exotic wood, metal or antique as well as hand- painted. The new finish is extremely durable, and of course can change the complexion of a room dramatically.

#2  Metal can appear to be wood.
Metal doors and windows can be finished to look like a babinga or zebrawood. The look of a hotel entrance was dramatically warmed up by going from black metal to a red mahogany (please see photos of Homewood Suites by Hilton). The finish holds up to luggage carts bumping around, coat zippers going by and the elements.

#3  A plain door can have the look of hand-carved art.
By employing a raised stencil technique, a plain door can look hand-carved. The doors can then be antiqued with a strie, for a custom, durable and elegant look, at a fraction of what it would cost to carve the doors.

#4  Wooden spindles can be made to look like metal.
Why not take the painted spindles that everyone has in their home staircase, and make them special. Choose from antique bronze, brass, stainless or verdigris, or a combination for a richer look.

#5  Walls can be customized to match any fabric.
A custom stencil can be cut to match or compliment your fabric. The pattern can then be used to make a whispering statement by softly appearing, laced in and out of a faux finish such as the luminous Lusterstone, or a damask. A one-of-a-kind room can be achieved with creativity and expertise.
